a train can’t bring me home
What made my dreams so hollow, I was standin‘ at the depot / With a steeple full of swallows, that could never ring a bell / Oh, I’ve come ten thousand miles away, and I ain’t got one thing to show / Must’ve been a train took me away from here, but a train can’t bring me home (Tom Waits)

WOW! A wonderful perspective, fritsch! This photo shows how empty and closed our society in some situations is. but the two persons at the end of the course stands for hope – in my opinion.
I’ve never been in a train depot like this so I’m not sure what I’m seeing. However, the patterns in this image are very intriguing. Nice.
Great photograph!
a great exercise is pattern, repetition and perspective. Tip Top.
Guter Blickwinkel. Und immer die Frage was wohl hinter den Türen ist?
Für einige ist das ihr zu Hause!
die tür mit der nummer 0814 steht offen – gott ist manchmal ein schelm :-)

nice b&w
Tom Waits is one of my favourite song writers/poets. This image is a perfect pairing. The lines and tones of the frame draw you in and don’t let go. Beautiful black and white tones and depth of field. Compliments to you!
Excellent one!
Superb perspective and excellent framing
great angle and perspective. there are patterns everywhere – the lockers, the tiles on the floor, and even the ceiling. your work is amazing as usual. thanks for sharing.
Remembers me the strange feeling I had when arriving in LA in the early morning, getting down the Greyhound from Phoenix! Some years ago :) Nice perspective in your composition.
this truly is an amazing perpective! and i love your matching title!!
great lines, in all directions – and then those two people disappearing into the little square of light…
Bonsoir,
A nice perspective..great tones..Bravo!
Fabulous compo and BW !
Love the clever play of lines running within this photo ~
The repetition on the left really aid the eye in scuttling forward.
