the sun gonna shine in my back door someday
Trouble in mind, baby you know that I’m blue / But I won’t be blue always / Yes, the sun gonna shine, in my back door someday (Lightnin Hopkins)

Such a sweet expressive moment captured!
All the despair of a child… all the weight of a heayv burden… all the loneliness of whom is living a painful moment…
Going back, Florian, to Alfred de Musset… going back to my childhood… going back to my past loneliness…
But who cares of a child’s sorrow ? You care and you show us we are not totally alone.
Deep pain apparently and yet somebody to listen and somebody to show (you ;)
Pain and memory of pain. Relief is never complete. It can’t be.
My mind is blue, even in b&w, but the sun shines so bright, my friend. The sun shines so bright.
it’s odd how the weight of injustice seems to be on a child’s shoulders, as we age, it pummels us, but never again are we so innocent to thing it ’should‘ be some better way… we have forgotten. until God reminds us of who we are supposed to be. love love baby xoxoxoxox
This calls out to the parental side of me. This child is having some kind of distress or problem that seems to be so monumental at the moment. The mother’s body language only speaks of peacefulness and that this moment is totally under control. She knows that the events of the day are good; the child, though, feels distress. It may well be that in our distresses, we need a good and broader view of life and to understand that „this, too, shall pass.“ Another thought-provoking statement made through your art, Florian.
the moment very well captured..though I thought she was trying to shade her eyes from the sun rather than feeling gloomy
Brace for impact this picture offers… escalating tensions! If this picture doesn’t get your curiosity firing I don’t know what will (HA!) – A noteworthy piece of work Florian, good „teller of tales“.
A nice street scene. The port of La Rochelle is beautiful. He dazzles the eyes of some…
This is brilliant Florian, simply fantastic. What a moment, all a child’s boredom and sorrow expressed in a simple but very telling gestures, caught with the same simplicity and a very human look
it’s like she’s smacking her forehead as an act of exasperation with what her companion said.. :) nice shot!
Cute scene, perfectly caugjt. Love the composition with the city and the tower in the back.
Have a nice day.
