the trees are sharp in focus, the church is blurred, distant and out of reach. Works well Fritsch.
die kahlen, scharf abgelichteten Äste vor der verschwommenen Kirche unterstützen den düsteren Charakter des Photos. Was ist denn hinter einem? Die Kirche oder bald der Winter? Die Trauer oder die Hoffnung? Ich plädiere dafür, dass die Ängste hinter einem sein sollten, welche in diesem Bild auch zum Ausdruck kommen.

I like that the building in the background is slightly out of focus and blurry. And interesting way to compose a beautiful picture. I love silhouettes, and probably you knew that by now. :-)

Stark to the point of sadness. Perhaps one of your darkest images yet. Interesting visual game played by the mix of foreground and background. Certainly one to keep the attention; to meditate on.
Merkwürdig, wie unterschiedlich die Assoziationen sind, die man zu einem Bild haben kann. „Somewhere left behind“ sieht in diesem Bild für mich aus wie ein Blick zurück auf etwas Vertrautes, Geborgenes, das unerreichbar in weite Ferne gerückt ist.
